swoop turns the notch into a file shelf, a music player and a row of widgets that you arrange and color yourself. Move the pointer to the notch and it opens. Move it away and it closes.

File shelf
- Drag files to the notch to keep them on the shelf, then drag them out into any app or folder.
- Double-click to open a file, right-click for more.
- Files stay where they are: swoop only remembers where they are and copies nothing.
- Drop files on the AirDrop tile, or click it to send the whole shelf to a nearby iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Music
- Works with Spotify and Apple Music: see the song, cover and progress, and play, pause or skip right from the notch.
- While a song plays, its cover and moving bars sit beside the camera in the closed notch.
Your notch, your way
- A compact view that opens when you hover, and a wide view for everything else.
- Choose the widgets for each view, put them in any order and give each one its own color.
- Black to blend in with the notch, or glass.

- Timers: pomodoro, countdown and stopwatch.
- Calendar and reminders from every account on your Mac.
- Quick links to your apps and Notion pages, and a small prompt box for Claude or ChatGPT.

On an external display or a Mac without a notch, swoop shows a small notch of its own at the top of the screen. Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
